Is RydeBondhu free?
Yes — free for riders while we build the community. No paywalls and no ads. We're optimising for love and trust before revenue; every rider and every club gets full access.
When does it launch, and on which phones?
We're Android-first and opening a private beta soon. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first in. An iOS app comes later.
How is it different from WhatsApp and Google Maps?
Those are five separate tools you trust on none of the roads that matter. RydeBondhu puts the whole ride in one place — live group tracking, one shared route, ride-aware chat, a safety net, and your ride history — so you coordinate less and ride more.
Does it work where there's no signal?
That's a priority. Offline routes and maps for no-signal hill roads are one of the first things we're adding after launch — built and tested on real tours to Sajek and Bandarban.
Do I need my whole club to join?
No. Start with a few riders and it already works. It just gets better with your crew — and admins can bring an entire club across in one go.
Is my location private?
You're in control. Location sharing is opt-in and tied to a ride; you decide what you share and with whom. Privacy and visibility settings are built in from day one.
Will there be a Bangla version?
Yes. We're English-first today, with a Bangla interface — and Bangla voice notes and navigation — on the roadmap. Built with Bangladesh's riders, for Bangladesh's riders.
